Lukashenko Takes Oath for Seventh Term as Belarusian President in Minsk Ceremony

Alexander Lukashenko officially assumed office for his seventh term as President of Belarus following his victory in the January 26 elections. The inauguration ceremony took place at the Independence Palace in Minsk, attended by top officials and invited guests.
During the ceremony, Lukashenko took the oath in Belarusian, pledging to faithfully serve the people, uphold constitutional rights, and protect the nation’s laws. After signing the official document, Central Election Commission Chairman Igor Karpenko presented him with the presidential certificate, confirming his new term.
