The 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF), to kick off Thursday in Algiers, is set to be the most significant and ambitious edition since its launch, thanks to unprecedented participation levels, promising economic opportunities, and exceptional resources dedicated to ensuring its success, in line with the vision of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and Algeria’s ongoing historical commitment to continental integration.
Held under the theme “A Bridge to New Opportunities,” this edition will feature over 2,000 exhibitors, delegations from 140 countries, and more than 35,000 professional visitors, with commercial and investment agreements expected to exceed $44 billion.
Algeria has mobilized extensive resources to guarantee optimal conditions for official delegations, exhibitors, and professional visitors, with tailored facilitation measures to ensure the smooth running of the event. Organized by Algeria in partnership with Afreximbank, the African Union Commission, and the AfCFTA Secretariat, this edition has drawn special attention from Algeria’s top authorities. President Tebboune had previously instructed the government to take all necessary measures to facilitate African partners’ participation, underscoring the strategic significance of the fair for national and continental economies. The event will take place at the Palais des Expositions (Pins Maritimes) and the Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center.
Beyond its official opening, the IATF 2025 program includes specialized exhibitions, an Algeria Day, an investment agencies summit, an African diaspora meeting, B2B and B2G business encounters, a trade and investment forum, an automotive industry exhibition, dedicated spaces for startups and innovation, as well as cultural and artistic activities.
For Algeria, the fair is a strategic opportunity to reaffirm its role as a continental development driver and active contributor to African economic integration. By showcasing its industrial, agricultural, and energy strengths, alongside the creativity and innovation of its youth, Algeria seeks to position itself as a key regional hub for trade and investment, connecting African markets with Europe and the Mediterranean while reinforcing its leadership in inter-African cooperation.
