ALGIERS – The CEO of the Sonatrach Group, Rachid Hachichi, held bilateral meetings with officials from international companies participating in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF-2025), held in Algiers from September 4 to 10, the company said in a statement on Sunday.
On Saturday, Hachichi discussed with the Vice President of Sales at the Canadian company “SpaceBridge,” Jamil Joseph, ways to develop cooperation in the fields of satellite communications and innovative digital solutions to support the energy sector, the statement said.
The CEO of Sonatrach also received Ludovina Bernardo, Chairperson and CEO of the Mozambican National Hydrocarbons Company (ENH). During the meeting, they reaffirmed the strong ties between the two institution and explored new partnership opportunities in the areas of exploration and production, the source added.
These meetings are part of Sonatrach’s efforts to strengthen African cooperation and establish strategic partnerships based on innovation and the exchange of expertise, contributing to the development of the energy industry and ensuring sustainable energy security, the statement concluded.
