Bolivian Senate Reaffirms Support for Sahrawi People’s Right to Self-Determination

The President of the Senate of Bolivia, Andrónico Rodríguez, reaffirmed his country’s unwavering support for the Sahrawi people and their just struggle for independence and self-determination.

During a meeting with the Sahrawi Ambassador to Bolivia, Ahmetou Mohamed Ahmed, Rodríguez expressed his deep solidarity with the Sahrawi cause, both personally and institutionally. He reiterated the Bolivian Senate’s full backing for the Sahrawi people’s legitimate rights under international law and their ongoing fight for freedom.

For his part, Ambassador Ahmetou Mohamed Ahmed conveyed the Sahrawi State’s sincere appreciation for Bolivia’s steadfast stance, describing it as a significant step toward strengthening cooperation between the two nations. Both sides emphasized the importance of mutual support and the deepening of friendship and solidarity between the Sahrawi and Bolivian peoples.
