Algerian Minister of State, FM, received by Ethiopian PM

ADDIS ABABA – Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received on Monday by Ethiopian Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed Ali, in the capital Addis Ababa, during his official visit as the Special Envoy of the Algerian President, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

During the meeting, the Algerian Minister of State delivered a written message from President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the Ethiopian Prime Minister, extending the President’s “brotherly greetings and emphasising his desire to continue their joint efforts to elevate the relations between Algeria and Ethiopia to the broadest possible horizons,” the source added.

The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the strong ties between the two countries, based on close coordination and fruitful cooperation. It also addressed the latest developments in Africa, particularly in the regions to which both countries belong, the statement concluded.
