Algeria: President Tebboune Meets with Energy Ministers of Niger and Nigeria

ALGIERS, February 11, 2025 – On Tuesday, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune convened a meeting with Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Mr. Sahabi Oumarou, the Minister of Petroleum of the Republic of Niger, as stated in a release from the Presidency.

Attending the meeting were the Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Boualem Boualem; the Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines, and Renewable Energy, Mohamed Arkab; and the CEO of Sonatrach, Rachid Hachichi, according to the same source.
