Third Exchange of Prisoners and Captives Between Hamas and Zionist Entity

GAZA, January 30, 2025 – On Thursday, the Zionist entity released 110 Palestinian prisoners, including 30 children, in exchange for eight captives freed by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, as part of the ongoing ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

Two buses carrying the Palestinian prisoners arrived in Ramallah, located in the occupied West Bank, to the cheers of hundreds of onlookers, according to local media reports. Most prisoners were transferred to Ramallah, while others were sent to occupied East Jerusalem and some to the Gaza Strip.

Earlier in the day, Hamas handed over three captured Zionist soldiers and five Thai nationals to the International Red Cross.

This marks the third prisoner and captive exchange operation between Hamas and the Zionist entity under the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, which came into effect on January 19. The first phase is set to last six weeks and involves the release of 33 Zionist prisoners in exchange for approximately 1,900 Palestinian detainees.
