The Algeria Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs of Algeria, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, received a phone call this morning from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Sudan, Ali Youssef.
The discussion focused on the latest developments in Sudan and the pivotal role Algeria plays as the Arab member of the United Nations Security Council in supporting Sudan’s security, stability, and territorial integrity. Both parties emphasized Algeria’s commitment to fostering peace and stability in the region.
Additionally, the two ministers addressed the historical fraternal relations between Algeria and Sudan and explored avenues to enhance bilateral cooperation in preparation for upcoming joint events and initiatives.
