Shehbaz Sharif a prêté serment lundi pour devenir officiellement Premier ministre du Pakistan pour la deuxième fois, près de quatre semaines après des élections nationales, rapportent des médias. Sharif, 72 ans, a officiellement pris ses fonctions lors d’une cérémonie d’investiture à Islamabad, un jour après que le Parlement l’a élu Premier ministre.
Déjà chef du gouvernement d’avril 2022 à août 2023, Shehbaz Sharif a été élu avec 201 voix contre 92 pour Omar Ayub Khan, le candidat soutenu par l’ex-Premier ministre Imran Khan
