Zionist Strikes Kill 25 Palestinians in Gaza, Shattering Fragile Ceasefire

At least 25 Palestinians were killed and 77 others injured on Wednesday after Zionist airstrikes hit multiple areas across the Gaza Strip, according to the Health Ministry. The attack marks a new violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement that has been in place since last month. The ministry warned that several of the wounded remain in critical condition.
The Zionist forces launched a wave of evening strikes, claiming the assault came in response to gunfire allegedly targeting its forces in Rafah, southern Gaza. Civil Defense spokesman Mahmoud Basal said the bombardment began with artillery fire on a home in the Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza City, killing a young Palestinian. A subsequent strike targeted a civilian gathering in the same area, killing another person and injuring dozens.
Zionist warplanes later bombed the headquarters of Gaza’s Endowments Ministry in the Zeitoun neighborhood, killing five people, including a pregnant woman and a young girl. In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, three more Palestinians were killed and several wounded after another strike targeted a group of civilians.
Hamas condemned the Zionist bombardment as a horrific massacre and accused Netanyahu of seeking to resume genocide against Palestinians. The group rejected the Zionist entity’s justification of retaliatory gunfire as “a weak and exposed attempt to justify its crimes.” Hamas called on Türkiye, the US, Egypt, and Qatar—guarantors of the ceasefire—to pressure the Zionist entity to halt its violations before the agreement collapses entirely.
Since October 2023, nearly 70,000 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have been killed by Zionist aggression on Gaza, with more than 170,000 injured as large parts of the enclave lie in ruins.
