Zionist occupation plans to conquer all Gaza, while restricting aid access as pressure tactic

At least 20 Palestinians were martyred since early Monday in Zionist occupation’s incessant airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, which claimed the lives of 24 people a day earlier as the genocide continues unabated.
This comes as the occupation approved a plan to further escalate aggression against the besieged enclave to the point of conquering all of Gaza, according to media reports.
Besides the intensified military onslaught, the occupation proposed allowing the entry of aid into Gaza, yet under its own control, a move that was rejected by the United Nations, as it would tighten the occupation’s grip on vital humanitarian supplies, using them as a pressure tactic and a military strategy.
Moreover, this proposed strategy would force civilians into military zones to collect rations, endangering them and aid workers, while further contributing to forced displacement, according to the UN Humanitarian Country Team in Gaza.
Amnesty International Secretary General Agnes Callamard called on all international actors, particularly the European Union, to pressure “Israel” to allow the entry of food, water, and medicine into the Gaza Strip, and to hold accountable those responsible for genocide and war crimes.
“We know that people are suffering from severe shortages of food, water, and medicine. The World Food Organization, the World Health Organization, and all other UN and humanitarian organizations are sounding the alarm: There is no more food in Gaza,” she said, adding that what is happening in Gaza is “genocide in plain sight.”
On Sunday, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that its medical services in Gaza face a severe shortage of resources due to the blockade and ongoing genocide.
“Nearly one third of essential supplies are out of stock, and another one third are projected to run out in under two months,” the agency said on X.
Separately, an international NGO that intends to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea said on Sunday it was in talks with Malta’s government about allowing the vessel to enter Maltese waters to repair damage caused by a drone attack by the Zionist occupation.
The ship “Conscience” run by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, suffered damage to its front section including a loss of power, after it was attacked in international waters off Malta early Friday and remains anchored in international waters while awaiting permission to dock, according to an aid official aboard.
The Conscience had been waiting to take on board some 30 peace activists from around the world before trying to sail to Gaza in the eastern Mediterranean to deliver food and medicines.
Ismail Songur, head of the Mavi Marmara Freedom and Solidarity Association and a passenger on the ship, cited preliminary findings that a C-130 military aircraft flew from “Tel Aviv” to Malta six to eight hours before the explosion and that fast boats may have approached the vessel during that time.
“This attack was not only against us, but against all humanity,” he said.
It is noteworthy that in 2010, another NGO ship on a similar mission to Gaza was attacked by “Israeli” troops, killing nine activists.
The Zionist occupation’s genocidal war on Gaza has killed at least 52,535 Palestinians and wounded 118,491, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry. The Government Media Office updated the death toll to more than 61,700, saying thousands of people missing under the rubble are presumed dead.
