On Friday, five children were killed and several others injured in an airstrike conducted by Zionist aircraft on a residential building in a southern suburb of Beirut, according to the Lebanese news agency.
The agency reported that “an enemy F-35 warplane carried out an airstrike with two missiles targeting an apartment in the Al Jamous area of the southern suburb.” It noted that ambulances and civil defense teams quickly arrived at the scene to assist the wounded, alongside a heavy presence of the Lebanese army.
Furthermore, it stated that “the enemy air raid occurred during peak hours, resulting in civilian casualties, with at least five children confirmed dead thus far.”
The Zionist airstrike caused significant destruction to the targeted apartment and left other apartments within the building and vehicles parked outside damaged.
