Witkoff to Visit Moscow Next Week for Ukraine-Related Talks — Russian Presidential Aide

A preliminary agreement has been reached for US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff to travel to Moscow next week, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov announced.

Ushakov said that Witkoff will be accompanied by several other members of the US administration involved in Ukraine-related matters, with both sides currently working on arranging the meetings that will take place in the Russian capital.

The planned visit comes amid increased diplomatic contacts between Moscow and Washington in recent weeks, as both sides explore potential political pathways to address the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Witkoff’s trip is expected to offer further indications about the direction of upcoming negotiations.
