Weekly Protests Continue in California Demanding Ceasefire in Gaza

CALIFORNIA – Human rights and humanitarian organizations in San Pedro, California, held a new protest as part of a series of weekly demonstrations calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The protest, organized by CODEPINK San Pedro, San Pedro Neighbors for Peace, and FreePress, drew dozens of participants in front of the South Bay Galleria shopping mall. Protesters chanted, “No return to normal life until a ceasefire is declared,” highlighting their ongoing commitment to Palestinian solidarity.
Organizers called on the U.S. administration to end military support for the Zionist entity and condemned what they described as “international silence regarding the daily massacres in Gaza.” Speakers at the event stressed that demonstrations will continue weekly until the war ends and those responsible for civilian harm are brought to justice.
