UNRWA: 90% of Gaza’s Population Forcibly Displaced Amid Zionist Aggression

Around 90% of Gaza’s 2.4 million residents have been forcibly displaced due to ongoing Zionist military assault on the enclave, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) reported on Thursday. The statement came as Palestinians mark the 77th anniversary of the Nakba—the mass expulsion of over 700,000 Palestinians from their towns and villages.
“77 years later, Palestinians continue to be forcibly displaced,” UNRWA said, highlighting the scale and continuity of the crisis. The agency stressed that many in Gaza have been forced to flee their homes multiple times, with some displaced ten times or more since the start of the Zionist entity’s current military campaign.
Since October 2023, over 53,000 Palestinians—most of them women and children—have been killed in Zionist relentless bombardment and ground offensive. In response, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants last November for Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former War Minister Yoav Gallant, citing war crimes and crimes against humanity. Additionally, the Zionist entity is facing a genocide case at the International Court of Justice over its actions in Gaza.
