The Zionist occupation escalates offensive in the West Bank, accelerating its “ethnic cleansing” program

The Zionist occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Khalil (Hebron) on Saturday, shutting down the Ibrahimi Mosque and preventing worshippers from entering, according to eyewitnesses and local authorities.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu agency that the Zionist forces raided several neighbourhoods, with soldiers and snipers were seen taking positions on rooftops of residential buildings.
In the meantime, the illegal settlers launched an early morning attack on Palestinian residential areas in the southern West Bank, looted possessions, and caused significant damage to the property of local residents, according to Anadolu agency.
By far, the Zionist large-scale offensive on the three northern West Bank cities has now focused on Jenin and its refugee camp after troops withdrew from Tulkarm and Tubas. Palestinian media reported that the Zionist forces’ bulldozers caused major damage in Jenin and led to ongoing telecommunication outages.
Since Wednesday, hundreds of Zionist occupation soldiers, armoured vehicles, drones, fighter jets, and bulldozers have been mobilised across northern parts of the West Bank, particularly targeting the cities of Jenin, Tulkarem, and Tubas, destroying properties and critical infrastructure including roads, water, sewage networks, as well as electricity poles.
The overall toll of martyrs in the West Bank exceeded 26 Palestinians, with dozens have been injured since the offensive started.
A joint statement from the Palestinian Authority’s Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), noted that the total number of detainees has risen to approximately 70 since the onset of the occupation offensive in the northern region. This figure reflects confirmed cases, yet the actual number may be higher, according to WAFA.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Zionist minister of foreign affairs proposed a plan to “evacuate” Palestinians in the West Bank, similar to the strategy implemented in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian political analyst Nour Odeh told the Anadolu agency that such a program constitutes a step towards the Zionist entity’s “overarching goal” to annex the West Bank.
“Strategically and realistically, this is not about combating Palestinian resistance, which is nominal in the West Bank. It is extremely limited and with very little effect,” Odeh added to the same source.
