The EU considers the ICJ Advisory Opinion on the occupied Palestinian territories

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, expressed yesterday that the EU’s position towards the Zionist practices in the West Bank and AlQuds goes in line with The ICJ Advisory Opinion on the Occupied Palestinian Territory, and wrote on X : ” In a world of increasing violations of international law, it is our moral duty to reaffirm our unwavering commitment to all ICJ decisions.”

The ICJ Advisory Opinion stressed on the illegal state of the Zionist occupation in the West Bank including AlQuds as a blatant violation of international law, and called to cease building new settlements and evacuate the existent ones.

The court called the United Nations Gerneral Assembly and Security Council to take the necessary measures to end the Zionist “unlawful occupation.”
