On Tuesday in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune declared that Algeria is a peaceful nation whose primary goal is to foster peace both regionally and globally.

In a joint statement with Slovenian President Nataša Pirc Musar following their discussions, President Tebboune emphasized, “Despite various claims made here and there, Algeria remains steadfast in its commitment to establishing peace in the region, the Mediterranean, and around the world.”

“Since our independence, we have been dedicated to constructive dialogue, steering clear of violence to address numerous crises,” he added.

President Tebboune also highlighted that Algeria’s foreign policy is “closely aligned with that of the Republic of Slovenia.”

“We are eager to sustain our privileged relationship with this friendly nation and will work diligently to enhance our commercial and economic exchanges in the near future,” he concluded.
