Severe Water Shortage Hits 90% of Gaza Families Amid Ongoing Zionist Aggression

Medical sources have reported that 90% of families in the Gaza Strip are suffering from severe water shortages as the Zonist aggression enters its 583rd day. This crisis is attributed to the systematic destruction of infrastructure by Zionist forces, which has crippled access to clean water and sanitation.

According to the same sources, over 25% of water samples have tested positive for contamination, fueling a surge in diseases among the population. The situation is worsening with the arrival of summer and rising temperatures, particularly in overcrowded displacement camps, where the lack of access to drinking water has become critical.

The collapse of essential infrastructure has also affected sewage systems, with 90% of desalination plants and 80% of sewage treatment facilities reported out of service. Medical officials warn that sewage cesspits are now endangering groundwater, and untreated wastewater is contributing to increasing levels of seawater pollution along the coast.
