
ALGIERS – The Algerian President, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received on Wednesday a phone call from His Highness the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, who offered his warm congratulations once again on President Tebboune’s re-election for a second term, the Algerian Presidency noted in a press release.
“The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received, today, a phone call from His Highness the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, who renewed his warm congratulations on President Tebboune’s re-election for a second term,” the statement said.
In turn, the Algerian President thanked the Saudi Crown Prince for “his noble sentiments, and asked him to convey warm, brotherly greetings to His Majesty the King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud,” the same source wrapped up.
“The two leaders also agreed to hold a meeting soon,” the statement said.
