Nigeria: Five Soldiers from Multinational Joint Task Force Killed in Terrorist Attack

Five soldiers from the Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) were killed on Friday during a terrorist attack on a base in northeastern Nigeria, according to military sources. The reports also indicated that nine terrorists were eliminated in the confrontation.
Of the deceased soldiers, four were Nigerian and one was Cameroonian. The attack occurred before dawn at the base of this regional coalition, which accommodates both Nigerian and Cameroonian troops in the town of Wulgo, as various media outlets have reported, citing informed sources.
This incident comes just two months after a similar raid on the same base, which resulted in the deaths of 25 Cameroonian soldiers.
