NASA Says Crewed Moon Mission On Track for Early 2026

NASA reaffirmed Tuesday that its next crewed mission to the Moon remains on track for early 2026, despite repeated delays in recent years.
The Artemis 2 mission, now scheduled for no later than April 2026, has been postponed several times.
“We intend to keep that commitment,” said Lakiesha Hawkins, a senior NASA official, adding that the mission could even take place as early as February.
The crew, made up of three Americans and one Canadian, will be the first to orbit the Moon in more than 50 years, though no lunar landing is planned.
