The Lebanese Minister of Health, Firas Abiad, announced an updated toll on Thursday revealing that 1,974 individuals have been killed, including 127 children and 261 women, while 9,384 others have sustained injuries in Lebanon since the onset of Zionist aggression.
Minister Abiad reported that the airstrikes carried out by Zionist forces have damaged numerous medical facilities, resulting in the deaths of 97 members of medical and emergency staff.
He highlighted that many hospitals have been directly targeted, further straining the Lebanese healthcare system, which is already overwhelmed due to various crises.
The minister also dismissed the Zionist allegations concerning the presence of weapons in hospitals, stating that these claims are unfounded.
