Lebanese Journalist Killed in Zionist Forces Strike

A Lebanese journalist was killed on Friday when a strike from the Zionist forces targeted his vehicle while he was traveling along the Zahrani road in the city of Nabatiyeh, according to the Lebanese news agency ANI.

The victim of this attack was identified as Mohammad Chéhadé, a journalist, reporter, photographer, and director of the ‘Hawana Lebanon’ website. This information was reported by ANI, referencing a condolence message from the Lebanese Journalists’ Union.

“We express our profound sorrow and grief over the loss of a courageous colleague who became a martyr during the treacherous aggression of the Zionist forces. He was targeted in a hostile offensive while fulfilling his professional duties with integrity and dedication, serving as a witness to the truth and remaining loyal to the pulse of the people,” the union emphasized.

The statement further highlighted that “Mohammad Chéhadé was not simply an information bearer but the voice of the ground and the embodiment of reality, confronting danger to convey free speech from the heart of events, driven by the belief that journalism is a sacred responsibility.”

On Thursday, at least six other Lebanese individuals were killed, and ten more were injured in two airstrikes carried out by the Zionist forces in eastern Lebanon, according to official Lebanese sources.
