Kremlin : Russia and US Maintain ‘Constructive’ Contacts Amid Black Sea Initiative Talks

Russia and the United States have established “constructive” relations in their ongoing contacts and should continue on this path, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday, according to local media. He emphasized that Russia remains engaged with the US on implementing the Black Sea Initiative, a framework originally designed to facilitate grain exports from the region.
Peskov noted that communication between the two sides is intensive and ongoing. Meanwhile, regarding Ukraine, he confirmed that Russian forces are following President Vladimir Putin’s directive to refrain from targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
The Kremlin spokesman reiterated that this order remains in effect and is being adhered to by the Russian Armed Forces, with no new directives issued by the president on the matter.
