Khamenei: Officials will determine best ways to demonstrate Iran’s power following Zionist attack

TEHRAN – Iranian officials should determine how best to demonstrate Iran’s power to the Zionist entity after the attack on Iran’s military sites, IRNA news agency cited the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, on Sunday.
“The evil committed by the Zionist regime two nights ago should neither be downplayed nor exaggerated,” IRNA cited Khamenei as saying.
In an interview on Iran’s national TV on Sunday, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi accused the US of complicity in the Zionist offensive on Iranian military sites.
Citing a statement by the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, FM Araghchi added that the Zionist entity used US-controlled airspace to conduct its aggression. In addition to the defence equipment the US had previously provided to the Zionist entity.
The Iranian foreign minister had also written a letter to the UN chief, demanding an immediate UN Security Council meeting on the Zionist aggression.
The public relations office of the Iranian air defence command issued a statement on Saturday morning announcing that the Zionist airstrikes against some military centres in Tehran, the western province of Ilam, and the south-western province of Khuzestan have been successfully intercepted.
The offensive resulted in the martyrdom of two soldiers and limited material damage.
