Japan Considers Recognising the State of Palestine

The Japanese Foreign Minister Yōko Kamikawa noted during a meeting in the capital, Tokyo, her country’s consideration to recognise the State of Palestine, which emanates from Japan’s support of the two-state solution, and the Palestinians’ goal to establish an independent state, as they take into account “the progress of the Middle East peace process”.
