Italy: G7 Ministers’ Meeting on Interior Begins with Algeria’s Participation

The G7 Ministers’ Meeting on Interior, which convenes representatives from the seven major industrial powers, commenced on Thursday in Mirabella Eclano, Italy. Notably, Algeria is participating in this meeting, represented by Brahim Merad, the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Town Planning.
This two-day event will address various issues related to security, illegal migration, and the fight against cybercrime. Italy currently holds the rotating presidency of the G7, which also includes the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Germany, and Canada.
