TEHRAN – Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will visit Iran next Wednesday for talks with senior Iranian officials on the country’s nuclear energy program, according to IRNA news agency.
In a September interview, Grossi expressed the IAEA’s intention to visit Tehran and engage with the administration of President Masoud Pezeshkian. He also mentioned receiving assurances from the Iranian president regarding the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.
