Gulf States and Iran Push for De-escalation Amid Fears of Zionist Strikes on Oil Facilities

Gulf states are lobbying the United States to prevent the Zionist entity from targeting Iran’s oil facilities, concerned that such an attack could provoke retaliation from Tehran’s regional proxies. These nations fear their own critical oil infrastructure could become a target if the conflict escalates further, potentially destabilizing the entire region and disrupting global energy markets.

In response to rising tensions, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been seeking support from regional powers, including Saudi Arabia and Qatar, to de-escalate the situation. On Thursday, Araghchi emphasized Tehran’s desire to ease tensions, following Zionist threats of retaliation against Iran. As part of a diplomatic tour, he visited Riyadh and Doha to present Iran’s stance on the ongoing conflict, according to diplomatic sources.

This diplomatic outreach underscores the high stakes involved, as both Iran and the Gulf states seek to avoid broader regional conflict while defending their strategic interests. With tensions simmering, the focus remains on preventing further escalation that could lead to widespread instability in the Middle East.
