Gaza: Over 50 Killed Amid Bombardments by Zionist Forces (New Toll)

The death toll from airstrikes conducted by the Zionist occupation forces in both northern and southern Gaza on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday has risen to 51 deaths, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The occupation forces unleashed a barrage of missiles targeting civilian homes in Jabalia refugee camp and Jabalia al-Balad in northern Gaza, resulting in 45 deaths, the majority of whom were women and children, as reported by Wafa.

The bodies of the deceased and the injured have been transported to Indonesian Hospital and Al-Awda Hospital, while some victims remain trapped beneath the rubble of the destroyed homes, the source added.

In the southern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian man, his wife, and their two daughters were killed when a Zionist drone struck a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Younes.

Additionally, several Palestinians lost their lives when the Zionist forces targeted a house in the Al-Fakhari region, southeast of Khan Younes.

The Zionist occupation forces resumed their aggression against the Gaza Strip on March 18 after a break of over two months following a ceasefire agreement.

According to Palestinian health authorities, assaults carried out by the Zionist forces since March 18 have resulted in 2,780 deaths and 7,680 injuries. The overall toll of the ongoing assault on the Palestinian enclave has reached 52,908 deaths and 119,721 wounded since October 7, 2023.
