Gaza: Over 24 martyrs in Zionist attack on mosque and school-turned-shelter

GAZA – At least 24 people were martyred and 93 others wounded in Zionist airstrikes that hit a mosque and a school sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip early on Sunday.

The Gaza government’s media office confirmed the attacks, saying the Zionist forces committed two brutal massacres by bombing the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Mosque adjacent to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah and the Ibn Rushd School in Al-Zawaida, both in the central part of the Strip.

The statement also highlighted the deteriorating health situation in Gaza, with the few remaining hospitals overwhelmed by the increasing number of casualties amid scarcity of medical equipment.

The Zionist occupation’s tanks raided the north of Gaza in Beit Lahiya and Jabalia on Saturday night for the first time in months, issuing more evacuation orders. Meanwhile, the occupation’s warplanes pounded several houses, resulting in the martyrdom of over 20 people.

Since October 7 of last year, at least 41,870 Palestinians have been martyred and 97,166 others injured in the Zionist genocidal attack on the Strip, Gaza’s health ministry said on Sunday.
