The death toll from the ongoing aggression perpetrated by the Zionist occupation against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has reached 62,263 deaths, with 157,365 individuals injured, predominantly women and children, according to reports from Palestinian health authorities on Friday.
The same sources indicated that over the past 24 hours, hospitals in Gaza received the bodies of 71 martyrs and treated 251 injured individuals. Additionally, Palestinian health authorities revealed that since the escalation of violence began on March 18, a total of 10,717 Palestinians have been killed, while 45,324 others have sustained injuries, with many victims’ bodies still trapped beneath the rubble.
They also pointed out that the toll from the Zionist forces attacks targeting Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid in Gaza now stands at 2,060 deaths and 15,197 injured. Furthermore, hospitals have reported two new deaths attributed to famine and malnutrition, raising the total to 273 victims, including 112 children.
