Foot: Falcao Becomes the All-Time Leading Scorer for Colombia

Radamel Falcao netted the 347th goal of his career on Thursday, solidifying his position as the highest-scoring Colombian in history. The 38-year-old forward found the back of the net once again during a Colombian league match between his team, Millonarios, and Boyacá Chicó.

“Yes, yes, yes, yes! The Tiger (a nickname for Falcao) is the greatest scorer in history!” celebrated Dimayor, the governing body of Colombian football, on X.

With this latest goal, Falcao surpassed Víctor Hugo Aristizábal, a former international player who represented Atlético Nacional, Valencia, São Paulo, and Cruzeiro. Falcao has scored 36 goals for the national team, where he also holds the title of top scorer. At the club level, he has amassed 311 goals, including 83 during his four seasons with AS Monaco from 2013 to 2019, which remains his club record. Additionally, he netted 72 goals with FC Porto and 70 with Atlético de Madrid.

After an extensive career in Europe, he joined Millonarios this year, a Bogotá club he has long supported.
