The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced on Friday the eleven finalists vying for The Best Awards. Notably, Real Madrid has a significant presence with six nominated players, alongside the titleholder, Argentina’s Lionel Messi, who currently plays for Inter Miami.

In addition to Messi, the list features Real Madrid players Vinicius Jr., Dani Carvajal, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, and Kylian Mbappé, along with retired star Toni Kroos.

Current Ballon d’Or winner Rodri is also included, accompanied by his Manchester City teammate Erling Haaland. Young talents Lamine Yamal and Florian Wirtz complete the list of nominees.

The Best FIFA Football Awards Ceremony 2024 will showcase various awards, similar to the Ballon d’Or held last October. It will honor the best goalkeeper of the year, with nominees such as Bounou, Donnarumma, Ederson, Lunin, Maignan, Mamardashvili, Martinez, Raya, Simon, Sommer, and Williams.

In the coaching category, five candidates are in contention: Xabi Alonso, Carlo Ancelotti, Luis de la Fuente, Pep Guardiola, and Lionel Scaloni.
