The draw for the second edition of the FIFA Arab Cup “Qatar 2025,” taking place from December 1 to 18, will be held on May 24 in Doha, as announced by FIFA.
Alongside the Arab Cup draw, there will also be a draw for the final phase of the U17 World Cup, which will bring together 48 nations, including Tunisia.
Algeria, the champion of the inaugural FIFA Arab Cup held in 2021, has been invited by FIFA to defend its title. In that first edition, Algeria came out on top against Tunisia with a score of 2-0 after extra time, with goals from Sayoud in the 99th minute and Brahimi in the 120+5th minute.
To gear up for the upcoming FIFA Arab Nations Cup Qatar 2025, the Algerian Football Federation brought in former international player Madjid Bougherra in December 2024 to head up the development of a competitive national team aimed at defending its title.
