China: Four Dead and 30 Injured in Explosion at Department Store in Taiwan

TAIPEI, February 14, 2025 – An explosion at a department store in Taichung, central Taiwan, on Thursday resulted in four fatalities and 30 injuries, as reported by Xinhua News Agency on Friday.

All individuals injured in the blast have been hospitalized, and local authorities confirmed that no additional victims remain trapped in the building.

The Taichung Municipal Information Office announced that the emergency situation has been brought under control following a day of search and rescue efforts.
