Attaf and Al-Nafti Discuss Preparations for the Upcoming Joint High Committee Session

Algerian Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, held talks on Tuesday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Al-Nafti, on the sidelines of the 7th African Union–European Union Partnership Summit, held in Luanda.

On this occasion, the two ministers expressed their great satisfaction with the excellent level reached by the fraternal relations and cooperation between the two countries, the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, adding that they reviewed the ongoing preparations for holding the upcoming session of the Algerian-Tunisian Joint High Committee.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on developments in Libya, as well as on prospects for strengthening the role of neighboring countries in contributing to bringing closer the viewpoints of the parties in this brotherly nation, the statement concluded.
