Algerian Prime Minister to Oversee Algeria’s National Day at Osaka Expo 2025

On behalf of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui is heading to Osaka, Japan, to oversee Algeria’s National Day at the upcoming Expo 2025, held under the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” according to a statement released Tuesday by the Prime Minister’s Office.

He will be accompanied by Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts, Zouheir Bellow, and Algerian Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, Houria Meddahi.

The statement noted that Algeria’s participation in this global event is being coordinated with the country’s General Commissioner for the Expo, with active contributions from several ministerial departments and national institutions. The Algerian pavilion, titled “Lights of Algeria,” will showcase the nation’s rich cultural and civilizational heritage, highlight its economic potential, and promote investment opportunities.

Expo Osaka 2025 is one of the world’s major international exhibitions, expected to attract over 28 million visitors and participants from around the globe.
