Algerian President receives congratulations from Belarusian counterpart

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune received a congratulatory message from President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on the 71st anniversary of the glorious Liberation Revolution.

“I am pleased to extend to you and to the brotherly Algerian people my warmest congratulations on the Revolution Day,” a “historic turning point in Algeria’s glorious history, as it marked the beginning of its people’s heroic struggle for independence and their legitimate right to self-determination,” the message read.

“In light of the changes, it is increasingly important to foster coordination between countries that share a belief in genuine partnership based on mutual respect, equality, and non-interference in internal affairs,” the Belarusian president said.

“Belarus and Algeria are today exemplary models in this field, with their active cooperation on the international stage and their unwavering support for the principles of national sovereignty and rejection of interference in the internal affairs of other countries,” he added.

“I sincerely wish Your Excellency good health and success in your noble endeavors to achieve your desired goals, and I wish your generous people lasting peace, prosperity, and happiness,” the message concluded.
