ALGIERS – Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired on Monday a presentation on the strategic vision for the development and modernisation of the capital at the Moufdi Zakaria Cultural Palace, during which he issued orders and directives to ministers and officials regarding the projects and action plans.
The presentation was attended by senior state officials, government members, and the Wali of Algiers.
According to Algeria Press Service, the strategy for developing and modernising Algiers includes several ambitious projects that reflect the city’s status as the country’s capital, as well as its rich cultural and historical heritage.
These projects are already underway, with additional initiatives planned for the short and medium terms, the source added.
In this respect, the state has allocated significant resources to implement this strategy, with the goal of elevating Algiers to the level of the world’s major capitals.
