Algerian PM Holds Talks in Seville with Egyptian Counterpart

SEVILLE (Spain) — Algerian Prime Minister Nadir Larbaoui held Tuesday bilateral talks with the Egyptian Prime Minister, Moustafa Madbouli, on the sidelines of his participation, in his capacity as representative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4), which is taking place in Seville, Spain.

During the meeting, the two parties underscored the strength of the fraternal ties between the two fraternal peoples and countries and reviewed the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation relations.

They noted the need for joint action to activate cooperation mechanisms and strengthen partnership, particularly in economic fields, in line with the strategic vision of the leaders of the two countries, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and his brother the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sissi.

The meeting also addressed various regional and international issues of common interest, particularly the latest developments in the Palestinian cause and the situation in Gaza, in addition to efforts aimed at restoring stability in the region.
