Algeria Works on Swiftly Reviving Confiscated Industrial Projects

RELIZANE – The Algerian Minister of Industry, Sifi Ghrieb, emphasized on Sunday evening in the province of Relizane that his department is working to revive all confiscated industrial projects as soon as possible.

In a statement to the press during his inspection visit in the province, the Minister affirmed that “in implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Ministry of Industry is working to revive all confiscated industrial projects in the service of the national economy.”

Ghrieb underscored that his visits to various provinces are part of the “efforts and commitments of the Ministry of Industry to revive industrial activity and capitalize on confiscated and recovered industrial assets, in line with the directives of the President of the Republic, which aim to develop an efficient and sustainable industrial base, particularly in the High Plateaus and inland regions of the country.”

During this visit, the Minister inspected the project of a cement plant in the municipality of El Kalâa, as well as an agro-industrial complex currently attached to the public group Agrodiv, both of which are among the assets confiscated as part of the fight against corruption.
