The Algerian minister of pharmaceutical industry, Ouacim Kouidri, received on Tuesday the chairman of the organization “Business Russia,” Alexey Repik, with whom he examined cooperation and investment opportunities in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry in Algeria, the ministry said in a press release.
During this meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters in the presence of the president of the Algerian Council for Economic Renewal (CREA), Kamel Moula, the minister reviewed the momentum in Algeria’s pharmaceutical and medical device production sector, highlighting the progress made in the field of innovation, in line with the needs of the national health system.
For his part, Repik, accompanied by a delegation of Russian economic operators specializing in the pharmaceutical industry, expressed the Russian side’s interest in establishing “strategic partnerships” with Algeria in this field, the statement concluded.
