Algeria President Meets with Mauritanian Minister of Defense (Communiqué)

ALGIERS, April 16, 2025 – The Algerian Presiden, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Minister of National Defense, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, received Hanana Ould Sidi, the Minister of Defense, Retired Persons and Martyrs’ Children Affairs, of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, along with his accompanying delegation, on Wednesday. This was reported in a communiqué from the Presidency.

The meeting was attended by the Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Defense, Chief of Staff of the People’s National Army, General Said Chanegriha; the Director of the Cabinet at the Presidency, Boualem Boualem; and the President’s Advisor for Security and Defense Affairs, Boumediene Benattou.
