Algeria: PM Larbaoui receives Serbian ambassador

ALGIERS — The Prime Minister, Nadir Larbaoui, received on Monday in Algiers the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Algeria, Ana Petkovic, the Prime Minister’s office said in a press release.

The talks cantered on “bolstering bilateral cooperation relations in various fields and boosting partnerships, especially in economic areas, in line with the joint political will of both countries’ leaders, the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the Serbian President, Aleksandar Vucic,” the statement said.

The two parties discussed “current regional and international issues, underscoring the values and rules governing international relations and the founding principles of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), especially the principles of respect for the sovereignty of countries and non-interference in their internal affairs, as well as the importance of peaceful conflict resolution, in addition to the right of peoples to self-determination for peace, stability, and progress.”
