Algeria Participates in “Russia-Islamic World” Strategic Vision Group Meeting

ALGIERS — The president of the Algerian High Islamic Council (HCI), Mabrouk Zaid El Kheir, is taking part in the annual meeting of the “Russia-Islamic World” Strategic Vision Group, being held in Kazan, Republic of Tatarstan, starting Thursday, according to a Council statement.
The two-day meeting is themed “The Experience of Russia and Muslim Countries in Youth Policies: Challenges and Joint Efforts,” the same source said.
On this occasion, Zaid El Kheir will also attend the 16th International Economic Forum “Russia-Islamic World,” which began on May 13 and runs until May 18.
The Kazan Forum is “the main platform for cooperation between Russia and Muslim countries,” while the “Russia-Islamic World” Strategic Vision group serves as one of the “major instruments for implementing this cooperation,” the statement added.
