Algeria : 12th International Cultural Festival of Ma’luf Music kicks off in Constantine

CONSTANTINE – The 12 th International Cultural Ma’luf Festival kicked off at the Ahmed Bey Hall “Zénith,” in Constantine, in a festive atmosphere marked by a craft exhibition.
The opening of the event, held under the slogan “Ma’luf, Constantine’s First Bridge and Its Eternal Voice,” was kicked off by Mohamed Sidi Moussa, representative of the Minister of Culture and Arts, Zouhir Ballalou.
The minister’s representative read a message from the minister on the occasion of this festival, which is part of the “efforts made by the State to preserve and promote intangible cultural heritage, particularly through classification, conservation, and documentation.”
Malouf is an “art that conveys, through its music and lyrics, a heritage imbued with wisdom and beauty, reflecting the depth of human experience in our society,” reads the message.
