Al-Aqsa Mosque Draws Nearly 50,000 Palestinians for Isha, Tarawih Prayers

Nearly 50,000 Palestinian worshippers performed Sunday the Isha and Tarawih prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds, despite the restrictions and strict measures imposed by the Zionist occupation forces, Wafa news agency reported.
In a communiqué reported by Wafa, occupied Al-Quds governorate said that “tens of thousands of Palestinians gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque to pray in an atmosphere of devotion, despite the military checkpoints and ID inspections set up by the occupation forces.” In this regard, it said that the occupation forces have, for the holy month of Ramadan, reinforced their presence in occupied Al-Quds and its surroundings, as well as around Al-Aqsa Mosque, in an effort to limit access for worshippers.
Over 300 Palestinian residents of occupied Al-Quds have, in recent days, received orders banning them from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan, Wafa said.
