The 4th African Startup Conference enters its final day on Monday, featuring a rich program of panel discussions and workshops led by experts and stakeholders from Algeria and across Africa, covering topics such as startup financing, best practices, support organizations and AI.
Several meetings are held on supporting startups across various economic sectors, attended by ministers and officials from these sectors.
The startup exhibition running on the sidelines of the conference continues, as does the second and final day of the Algiers Fintech and ECommerce Summit.
The second day was marked by the adoption of the fourth “Algiers Declaration” on startup development by African ministers responsible for the knowledge economy and startups participating in the summit.
Through this declaration, they reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening intra-African cooperation, supporting youth, and facilitating entrepreneur mobility, while calling for the document’s official adoption at the African Union Executive Council session scheduled for February 2026 in Addis Ababa.
